Support AB 2712 California Universal Basic Income Program

This year, I’ve introduced the California Universal Basic Income Program (AB 2712) because it’s time for our economy to provide better opportunities for working families. Innovations and technologies created today are already disrupting the workforce, and continued automation will profoundly change the way our state works in the next 30 years. It is my hope that a universal basic income of $1,000 per month will provide Californians with a stronger level of economy security.

Although this idea is a work in progress, I knew it was important to begin with the fundamentals based on Andrew Yang’s Freedom Dividend proposal. As we advance through the legislative process, I hope to craft a plan that will be best suited for California, and I need your input to move forward. Please complete the survey below to share your ideas/suggestions for a successful CalUBI program.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. My team will keep you updated on AB 2712 as it moves forward.

Warm regards,

Evan Low
