Chair, California Legislative Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Caucus:
The Caucus was formed originally in June 2002. Its role is to present a forum for the California Legislature to discuss issues that affect LGBT Californians and to further the goal of equality and justice for all Californians. Formation of the LGBT Caucus made CA the first state in the country to recognize an official caucus of openly-LGBT state legislators.
Co-Chair, California Legislative Technology and Innovation Caucus:
The Caucus comprises a bi-partisan group of Assemblymembers and Senators who view this as a statewide effort to ensure that California remains the global leader in technology and innovation. The Caucus seeks to foster and promote technology and innovation, support legislation that creates jobs, improve the use of technology to improve the lives of people, promote the technology and innovation climate in California, and engage on emerging policy issues.
Parliamentarian, California Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus:
The California Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus represents and advocates for the interests of the diverse API communities throughout California. It seeks to increase Asian Pacific Islander participation and representation in all levels of government.
